Dr. Ivona Tau is a generative A.I. artist from Vilnius, Lithuania, working with neural networks and code as a medium in experimental photography and motion painting. Her work spans video, stills and generative art and is often combined with evocative soundtracks. Ivona often employs an extensive library of her own photographs to create surreal, fluid urban landscapes that melt before the eye.

The first two images above, "Study of an atom" and "Mythic Latent Glitches" originate from Ivona's fxHash generative art releases on Tezos. "Study of an atom" was the first release and experiments with merging analog photography, AI, generative text, and algorithmic coding into a diverse and compelling collection. "Mythic Latent Glitches" plays on the organic and the artificial, mixing machine and human inputs to generate landscapes that feel both real and simulated at the same time.
Finally, "Time Still II" explores how AI imagery can transpose visual elements into alternative realities - in this case creating fire from water.
