Using code to capture the essence of nature, no-one creates gardens quite like Michaël Zancan. A former software engineer and oil painter, Zancan cares passionately for his art and the wider community of collectors and fellow artists. A master with the plotter, his work can be experienced both digitally and in physical form for those who collect his sumptuous work.
COLLECTION HIGHLIGHTS
"Garden, Monoliths" featuring a lone monolith in a garden of flowers and berries represents a seminal moment on the fxhash platform. Met with awe by many newcomers to the genre, the collection is an explosion of diversity and technical prowess and set a new standard within digital art.
The next piece, "(kinder)Garden, Monuments" builds upon this triumph in collaboration with a peer, Yazid. Here, the garden brings back memories of childhood by incorporating playful elements such as coloured building blocks, all through the power of code.
Finally, "Thursday Dawn" is a particularly beautiful example of Zancan's extensive body of curated outputs released on the Versum platform, portraying a wild, daisy filled garden in stunning glory.
