Today, CryptoArt is an emerging movement, battling against naysayers and skeptics while still building the nascent technology to support its long term future. Blockchain technology has allowed artists to create and distribute without the need for traditional galleries. It allowed them to connect directly to collectors. In turn, consumers gained access to a 24/7 marketplace, communities of likeminded participants, and often, direct contact with the artists themselves.
More than this, the blockchain enables new media including video, animation, audio and code-based art to be distributed. Previously, many non-static pieces were only found in galleries and museums, beyond the reach of most people. With blockchain-enabled art, anyone can collect dynamic work, carrying it around on their 'phone and projecting onto a big screen at home. The democratisation and distribution of new art forms to anyone with a cellphone makes crypto-based digital art unique, exciting and here for the long term.
The collection here spans many different media, technologies, philosophies and styles. In contrast to many others, we celebrate artist editions and show many of them on this site, in addition to the 1/1 pieces we own. We see editions as a way for broader inclusivity of an artists collector base, something true to many of the original crypto-artists."
Our art is collected on the Ethereum, Tezos & Solana blockchains.
