Xer0x's art is not just what you can see, but each piece tells a story, often driven by events or performances that dive deep into what it means to participate in the CryptoArt community.
"Deathless" is the jewel in our Xer0x collection. As well as being a stunning piece of art, it marked the artists debut at Sotherby's, acknowledging his contribution and achievements within the CryptoArt movement . The work established Xer0x as one of the key break-out artists of the last couple of years and one that shows no signs of stopping.
"Parasite" is a great example of Xer0x's instinct to go beyond the art itself. Originally this piece was given as a reward to 50 people who had purchased a different artwork that itself given away for free! Parasite soon became one of Xer0x's most desired pieces and is a symbol of Xer0x's "copy of a copy" mantra, being derived from XCopy's CC0 Grifter series.
Finally, "Royalty" was another piece surrounded by performance. It deliberately removed any artist royalties from secondary sales and placed the piece under CC0 with no claims by the artist on any subsequent use. The work raises many questions regarding royalties for artists within CryptoArt, a topic of great debate to this day.
